The HPTH Research Fund:

1. This is a rare disorder, and the missing hormone is not yet registered for the use by Hypoparathyroidism patients. More clinical research is needed.
   
   
2. The patients also need a home tester to measure their blood calcium.
   
   
3. More research must be carried out into patient numbers and their symptoms.
   
   
4. We hope the future will bring the possibility of gene-therapy and parathyroid transplantations.
   
   
5. Implantations of sensors to measure our blood calcium may also be a possibility in the future.
