Iatrogenic Hypoparathyroidism (HPTH) is a complication of surgery performed on the thyroid or parathyroid glands, caused by a surgeon removing or cutting the blood supply to all four of a patient’s parathyroid glands. Its occurrence should be near zero, but sadly too many patients, especially women, are injured.

Hypoparathyroidism is a painful and chronically lifelong disease, which is difficult to regulate medically.

The income of the sales goes to our voluntary and nonprofit organisation, working to benefit those affected by Hypoparathyroidism.
